This piece feels the most contained of the four—warm terracotta and blush fill most of the canvas, with a single dark gray-navy shape anchored in the upper left, almost like it's holding the rest of the composition in place. The scribbled cream and rust marks running through it feel more like handwriting than gesture, tying everything back to that one anchor point.

The color combination pulls from the same Northern Flicker reference photo used across the series, leaning warmer and more blush-toned here than in Low Sky or Groundwork. Tethered felt like the right name because the piece has this quiet tension between the anchor and everything drifting around it.
