Out of Line #1 is an original abstract painting on paper from the Imperfectionism collection—and one of two related pieces that play with contrast, movement, and quiet rebellion. This piece was created on blue/green toned mixed media paper, offering a richer, moodier base for its layered marks.

Acrylic paint, oil pastel, and graphite pencil come together in a palette of muted purples, olive green, ochre, and pale peach. Each stroke feels confident but a little unruly, leaning into the idea that some of the most honest things don’t follow the rules.

Framed in a light oak–finish frame with a white mat, Out of Line #1 arrives ready to hang. It pairs with Out of Line #2, but holds its own with a strong sense of presence and rhythm.
