Lost and found - 30" x 40" - Acrylic and mixed media abstract painting on canvas

“Lost and found” is a part of a larger series called “On a roll”. This piece in particular was created early on in the making of this series but something about it just didn’t settle will or fit in. After a few weeks I made the decision to rework this piece - adding to its complexity and building on the layers.. The finished result now satisfies that feeling of unfinished Every piece in this series explores a new color palette making each piece wildly unique from the others.

While I was working on this collection, I was also putting in a lot of effort to achieve some significant goals. Some might find this overwhelming, but to me, it gives me a sense of purpose and fulfillment. It's not really my style to have an "I will rest when I'm dead" kind of attitude. I lean more towards a "I will do as much as I can and then rest when I need it" attitude. I hope that comes across well in my work, and my wish is that when you look at this collection, it serves as a reminder to keep moving towards your own dreams.
