Pink Noise 16" x 20" – Acrylic and mixed media abstract painting on canvas

This piece leans into a big, saturated field of magenta and pink, with a burst of rust-brown splatter sitting above it like static. I wanted the contrast between that soft, dusty pink and the sharper, messier ink-like marks to feel a little loud, even though the palette itself is pretty muted.

The colors came from a combination I found on Pinterest—soft pink grounded with pops of bright lime and orange. There's a softness to it that almost feels girly, but the splatter and the scribbled marks running through it keep it from feeling too precious. Pink Noise felt like the right name because the piece is quiet and chaotic at the same time.
