This piece leans softer and more romantic than the rest of the series—warm blush pink dominates the canvas, with sage and navy tucked into the corners and a single long pencil scribble drifting across it. It feels lighter and a little more open than Gray Area, even though they share a size and a palette.

The color combination comes from the same blue heron photo that shaped this whole series, but here it reads more delicate, more feather-like, which is exactly where the name came from. There's a softness to it that still has some grit underneath, thanks to the ink splatter and darker marks working through the blush.
